Tenzing Chadotsang is a non-profit consultant, community development specialist, and architect. He has experience in planning, designing, and implementing mission-driven programs in the arts, social sector, and development, and has worked as a Capital Projects Consultant since 2019. He was previously the director of community development at Hester Street, the Vice President and Director of Funding Agreements at the New York City Economic Development Corporation, and a Senior Preservationist and Director of Grants and Outreach at the New York City Landmarks Preservation Commission.
Tenzing has consulted on restoration projects in Mongolia, India, and Eastern Tibet for the World Monuments Fund and the KhamAid Foundation. He serves on the board of the Tibetan Museum of Staten Island, and previously served on the boards of the Chhaya Community Development Corporation and the Metropolitan Chapter of the Victorian Society. Tenzing holds a degree in architecture from the School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi, a master’s degree in historic preservation from Columbia University, and a master's diploma in World Heritage from the University of Torino, Italy.
