Ellis Kennedy

A student completing his dual degree in Economics and English at Union College, Ellis has over four years’ experience working on the restoration and historic collections at Castle Rock, a Garrison, NY property listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

He has worked alongside carpenters, painters, systems engineers, and restoration consultants, gaining first-hand knowledge of preservation practice. In addition, through his coursework at Union College, Ellis has had the opportunity to delve into questions of community engagement and planning while exploring urban parks and public finance policies.

When not working or studying, Ellis is an assistant coach for local baseball and softball programs in Brewster, NY and manages the Club Team at Union College.
